On 02/29/16 at around 2251hrs, OFC Patrick Wharton was on routine patrol when his attention was drawn to a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed in the area of Interstate 70 westbound by the 53 mile marker.
On 02/29/16 at around 2251hrs, OFC Patrick Wharton was on routine patrol when his attention was drawn to a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed in the area of Interstate 70 westbound by the 53 mile marker. OFC Wharton was able to conduct a traffic stop on the vehicle and identify the driver as Johnny Guitar Foor.
A routine check of Mr. Foor’s Pennsylvania driving record determined his privilege was suspended. Mr. Foor was then placed under arrest. During a search of his person, the officer recovered a quantity of heroin from Mr. Foor.. Also located in the vehicle were syringes, paraphernalia and a loaded handgun.
Mr. Foor was then transported to Frederick County Central Booking Unit where he was processed without incident.
