City Seeks Member to Fill Vacancy on Bicycle and Pedestrian Advisory Committee
Frederick, MD – February 12, 2016: The City of Frederick is currently seeking interested individuals to fill an unexpired term on the Bicycle and Pedestrian Advisory Committee.
The Bicycle and Pedestrian Advisory Committee will advise City officials and staff on the sound development, management, and safe use of The City of Frederick’s pedestrian and bicycle systems as they relate to infrastructure, accessibility, and promoting the benefits of these systems. The Committee meets at the City Annex Building on the first Tuesday of every month at 6:30 p.m. to discharge its duties.
Interested individuals must be city residents. Individuals who live outside of the downtown area are encouraged to apply. It is preferred that persons with a particular interest in walking apply.
Interested individuals should submit a recent resume and letter of interest noting the Bicycle and Pedestrian Advisory Committee to Amber Grimes, Commission Coordinator, 101 North Court Street, Frederick, MD 21701 or agrimes@cityoffrederick.com by Friday, February 26, 2016.
