On Saturday January 9, 2016 at approximately 10:17 PM Frederick Police Officers responded to a reported armed robbery at the A1 Mart located at 649 Himes Avenue Frederick, Maryland.
Detectives with the Criminal Investigation Division responded to handle the investigation. Det. Jorge Garcia is the lead investigator in this case. During the initial follow-up investigation it was determined that a male suspect entered the business and robbed the store clerk. The suspect then fled from the store on foot.
The suspect in this case is described as follows:
- White Male
- Think Build
- Approximately 5’07” – 5’10”
- Facial Hair
The suspect was last seen wearing the following clothing:
- Dark colored pants
- Dark colored Hooded Sweatshirt with Hood Up
- Ball Style Cap
- Light Colored Gloves
The Frederick Police Department is releasing the attached photo and requesting assistance from the community in identifying the suspect in this case.
