FREDERICK, MD - The Frederick Police Department along with the Neighborhood Advisory Councils are pleased to offer the 2016 Community Crime Awareness & Prevention Summit. The summit will take place on Saturday, February 6th from 8:00 am – 12:00 pm at Hood College. There will be a presentation on Cyber Crimes / Identity Theft for all participants. Following the presentation, there will be three (3) breakout sessions offered in which participants will be able to choose from a variety of topics such as:
• Gangs
• Drugs
• Elder Abuse
• Business Crime Prevention
• Keeping Your Teens Safe
• Starting a Neighborhood Watch
• Personal Safety & Protecting Your Home
• What to do if a Police Officer Stops Your Vehicle
Space is limited and registration is on first come first serve basis. There is a $5.00 registration fee which includes a light breakfast.
