The City of Frederick Seeks Individuals Interested in Serving on the Labor Relations Panel
Frederick, MD – December 14, 2015: The City of Frederick is currently seeking individuals interested in serving on the Labor Relations Panel.
The member must be a registered voter and must be either a resident of the City, own property in the City, or operate a business (or have his or her primary employment with a business) located in the City. The member will be appointed to a term of two years.
The Labor Relations Panel is charged with conducting hearings on any grievance filed by a sworn officer of the Frederick Police Department, in accordance with the Frederick City Code and the applicable contracts between The City of Frederick and the Fraternal Order of Police. At the conclusion of any such hearing, the Labor Relations Panel is required to issue written findings of fact and an order, in compliance with certain regulations, policies, and contractual provisions.
