On today's date an officer of the Frederick Police Department made a CDS arrest after a routine traffic stop.
On today's date at approximately 1445 hours, OFC Putman observed a vehicle travelling above the posted speed limit and initiated a traffic stop. Upon approaching the vehicle which had stopped in the parking lot of the Frederick County Courthouse, he found the driver to be extremely nervous. While continuing his investigation, a K-9 responded and alerted to the presence of CDS within the vehicle. The driver was subsequently arrested and searched. A search of the vehicle resulted in the location of a baggie of suspected heroine, and multiple items of CDS paraphernalia. The driver, identified as Cynthia Anne KOBLINSKI (dob 11/19/90) of Brad Alan Dr in Brunswick, MD was transported to Central Booking without incident and charged with Possession of CDS (heroine), Possession of Paraphernalia, and the related traffic charges. The arrestee was being processed at Central Booking at the time of this press release.
