Westside Regional Park Feasibility Study Community Meeting Planned

Frederick, MD – October 21, 2015 The first Community Meeting for the Westside Regional Park Feasibility Study is planned for Tuesday, November 10, 2015 at 7:00 PM. This meeting will be held in conjunction with The City of Frederick Parks and Recreation Commission Meeting.

The Community Meeting details are as follows:

Time: 7:00 pm
Location: Municipal Office Annex, Conference Room C

Frederick, MD 21701

A brief introduction of the park and the park planning process will be followed by a listening session. The purpose of the meeting is to hear from the citizens of The City of Frederick as to their desires for the development of this park. The park is located on Butterfly Lane on the west side of The City of Frederick. Citizens will be given 3 minutes to speak and will be asked to identify themselves prior to speaking.

An on-line and hard copy questionnaire will be made available immediately following the Community Meeting on November 10, 2015. This questionnaire will be open through December 10, 2015. The on-line questionnaire will be available on the city website at www.cityoffrederick.com following the Community Meeting. Additional questionnaire boxes will be made available at designated locations throughout the city.
