The Frederick Police Department has made three arrests in an early morning home invasion robbery

On 09/26/2015 at approximately 3:26 AM Frederick Police Officers responded to a reported burglary in the 1000 Block of Heather Ridge Drive Frederick, MD.
Officers located victims inside of an apartment in the 1000 Block of Heather Ridge Drive. It was determined that the suspects entered the apartment armed with handguns and assaulted both victims. During this assault several items were stolen.
As other officers arrived on scene a vehicle was seen leaving the area of the robbery. A traffic stop was made on the vehicle and two suspects fled from the vehicle. A third suspect, the driver of the vehicle, remained in the vehicle and was arrested after police determined that he was involved in the incident. This suspect was identified as Clarence Baker. As additional officers arrived, the other two suspects who originally fled from the vehicle, were located within the immediate area hiding from police. Both suspects were taken into custody at that time. As a result of the traffic stop and investigation two handguns and evidence from the crime were recovered inside of the vehicle. One of the recovered handguns was verified to have been previously stolen.
Detectives with the Criminal Investigation Division responded to complete the investigation. Det. Ames was assigned as the lead investigator. Detectives determined this was not a random attack and believe the suspects and victims may have been known to one another. All three suspects were arrested and charged with the below listed crimes in connection to this home invasion robbery.
