Mayor to Deliver State of the City Address
August 17 Along Carroll Creek
Frederick, MD August 10, 2015: Mayor Randy McClement will deliver the “State of the City” address on Monday, August 17 at 6:00 PM. The presentation will be given on Carroll Creek Linear Park, near the MARC Train Station parking lot accessible via South Wisner Street. Free parking is available.
“Last year, I made a promise to deliver the State of the City from the same location as last year so we could see the progress of the second phase of the Carroll Creek project,” said McClement. “While there is still several months of work yet to be done, I’m glad to be able to bring the community out to show off the progress of our staff and contractors. It’s also my opportunity to point out some of the surrounding redevelopment this part of the project has spurred!”
The public is encouraged to attend this event. The event will be taped and rebroadcast on City cable channel 99.
In the event of inclement weather, the rear loading dock at McCutcheon’s Apple Products, 13 South Wisner Street, will be the alternate location.
