The Frederick Police Department arrested a male for an attempted sexual assault on a female in the East Patrick Street Parking Deck.
On 06/29/2015 Officers from the Frederick Police Department were dispatched to a report of a sexual assault in the area of the East Patrick Street Parking Deck. It was later determined that the victim had fled the scene and was awaiting police response in a nearby park. Det. Loftis and Det. Ames were able to make contact with the victim. She was able to give a statement and identify the male offender as Gary Jamar Lorquet.
Mr. Lorquet was located a short time later by Det. Loftis and placed into custody. He was transported and at this time waiting to see the District Court Commissioner. Police are asking anyone who was in, or around the East Patrick Street Parking Deck around 3:00pm on 6/29/15, and observed anything out of the ordinary, to please contact Det. Loftis at 301-600-4109.
