The Frederick Police Department’s Street Crimes Team has charged two suspects in connection with a burglary
On 05-22-2015, officers of the Frederick Police Department responded to a residence in the 400 block of Grant Place, in Frederick City, in reference to a burglary call for service.
Through the initial investigation, it was found unknown suspects entered the victim’s garage and stole a weed trimmer and leaf blower. This case was assigned to Investigator Michael Murphy, of the Frederick Police Department’s Street Crimes Team, for follow-up and investigation. Through his investigation, information and evidence was obtained showing the stolen property was sold to a local pawnshop within a day of when the victim believed the burglary occurred. Through pawnshop records, and other information received, two suspects were identified as being connected to the burglary. Those suspects were identified as, Jeramy Wayne Logsdon and William Joseph Teegarden.
Criminal charges were applied for, charging Logsdon and Teegarden with charges related to burglary and theft. On 06-11-2015, Logsdon was contacted at the Frederick County Adult Detention Center and served with a criminal warrant in reference to this case. On 06-15-2015, Teegarden was contacted and served with a criminal summons due to his involvement in this case.
