On May 15, 2015, at approximately 0029 hours, Frederick Police Department received a call for a residential burglary in the 400 block of N. Market Street. The victim stated an unknown male was located inside her residence and jumped out the window. She provided identifying information for responding Officers. When Officers arrived in the area they located a male in the area matching the description provided by the victim. He was encountered and apprehended by Officer Weaver and his K9 Bady without incident. The male, identified as Mayers, Tyler Glen W/M DOB:07/13/1993, was positively identified as the suspect by the victim after a show up was conducted. He was placed under arrest and was found to be in possession of property stolen from the victim. During a search of Mayers Officers located drug paraphernalia. Mayers was charged with the following charges:
