Frederick Police Department offers Child Identification & DNA Kits Free to Residents
FREDERICK, MD – May 11, 2015 - The Frederick Police Department is pleased to offer child identification and DNA kits free to residents. These kits will provide parents with the ability to record and store identification information of their children. In the event a child is missing, this information can be provided to law enforcement immediately saving precious time in the investigation process.
Instructions are included with each kit, which will allow parents to collect a DNA sample and fingerprints. The kit also includes space to record identifying information and a photo of the child.
These kits are being distributed at various community events. You can also obtain your free kit please stop by the Frederick Police Department at 100 West Patrick Street, Frederick, MD.
