Frederick, MD – May 1, 2015: Pursuant to The Code of the City of Frederick, 1966 (as amended), Chapter 23 entitled “Taxicabs”, The City of Frederick will be making available two (2) new taxicab permits.
A person wishing to obtain a new taxicab permit shall submit to the Taxicab Administrative Agency, on or before May 15, 2015:
(1) A City of Frederick Taxicab Permit Application;
(2) A permit fee of $2,500 in the form of a certified check (refundable only if permit is not granted).
One completed application and associated fee must be submitted for each permit requested. Each applicant may submit up to, but no more than, two (2) applications for this process.
