Frederick, MD, April 2, 2015 - The Frederick Police Department along with the Frederick County Juvenile Delinquency Prevention and Policy Board (JDPPB), a subcommittee of the Local Management Board (LMB), is pleased to announce the second annual Youth Resource Fair. This year’s fair will be held on Saturday, April 18th from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm at the Francis Scott Key Mall.
The Youth Resource Fair is a free event that will provide parents and youth with information on programs and services for youth ages 5-21 in Frederick County. Programs and services to be featured include: after-school programs, child & family services, dropout prevention, educational programs, hotlines & crisis services, job assistance, mental health, mentoring programs, substance abuse treatment, volunteer opportunities, etc.
There are still a few remaining spots for organizations or agencies that would like to participate.
