The Frederick Police Department responded to a call for a hit and run accident at the intersection of W. 7th St and Military Ave.
On 04/01/15 at approximately 1423 Hrs the Frederick Police were dispatched to a hit and run accident located at the intersection of W. 7th St and Military Rd. While officers were responding to the accident they located the striking vehicle which had left the scene. This vehicle was located at the intersection of Rosemont Ave and Military Rd. A traffic stop was conducted.
Additional investigation would reveal the driver of the striking vehicle was Driving Under the Influence. The driver was identified as Jacqueline Gutierrez out of Martinsburg, WV. She was placed under arrest and transported to police headquarters for processing without incident.
