During the week of April 14-April 17, 2015 the Frederick Police Department will conduct training in the area of Gas House Pike and Monocacy Boulevard.
In an effort to continue its effort for improved training, the Frederick Police Department's Training Unit will be conducting Traffic Stop training in the area of Gas House Pike and Monocacy Boulevard. The training will involve simulated traffic stops with officers in police clothes. Each of the recruits will be paired with a member of the Frederick Police Department's Training Unit while performing the scenarios. The traffic stop training will be conducted during 4 days in April. The scenarios will be conducted in the afternoon/evening hours in an effort to minimize impact on traffic. The are encompassing the training will be marked with signs indicating that Police Training is in progress. Below are the dates and times for the training:
April 14, 2015: 12pm to 8pm
April 15, 2015: 12pm to 8 pm
April 16, 2015: 12pm to 8 pm
April 17, 2015: 12pm to 8pm
