Officers from the Frederick Police Department arrested a subject for disorderly conduct. After the subject was placed under arrest, he bit the officer on the shoulder.
On 03/27/2015 at approximately 1:30AM, officers from the Frederick Police Department were in the 1000 block of West Patrick Street dealing with an arrested person from a disorderly conduct call. During that time, a male identified as Justin Wilson came toward several officers as they were attempting to place a female into custody. Wilson was ordered numerous times to leave the area and to lower his voice. Wilson however refused and continued to yell profanities at the officers. Next, as an officer was attempting to search the arrestee before transport, Wilson came toward the officers and began cursing at them causing a public disturbance. As a result, Wilson was placed under arrest for obstructing and hindering and disorderly conduct.
Next, as officers were attempting to place Wilson in a police vehicle for transport, Wilson assaulted Officer Cosgray by biting him on the shoulder. Officers were eventually able to place Wilson in a police vehicle for transport. Wilson was taken to Frederick Memorial Hospital for minor injuries he sustained prior to police arrival. From there, he was taken to the Frederick County Adult Detention Center for processing. The injury the officer sustained was minor and he was treated and released from FMH a short time later.
