The Frederick Police Department’s Street Crimes Team has charged a Frederick man with burglary…
On 01-24-2015, officers of the Frederick Police Department responded to a burglary that occurred in the first block of Franklin Street, in Frederick City.
Through the initial investigation, it was found a residence was burglarized during the daytime hours, when the victim was not home. During the burglary, multiple items were stolen from the residence. This case was assigned to Investigator Paul Malatesta, of the Frederick Police Department’s Street Crimes Team, for follow-up and investigation. Through his investigation, information was gathered and evidence related to the crime was located. It was through this information and evidence that the suspect was positively identified as, Dean Alan Stone, Jr. Investigator Malatesta was able to determine that Stone burglarized the victim’s residence twice in one week, stealing electronic related items.
Criminal charges were applied for through the Frederick County District Court Commissioner’s Office, charging Stone with charges related to burglary and theft. A criminal summons was issued in reference to this incident. On 02-07-2015, Stone was located and served with a copy of the charges.
