On 02/06/2015, officers of the Frederick Police Department’s Street Crimes Team observed a suspicious vehicle in the area of Willowdale Drive and W. Patrick Street, in Frederick City.
An equipment violation was observed on the suspicious vehicle and a traffic stop was conducted. During the course of the traffic stop, OFC Kyle Jones recognized a passenger in the vehicle as, Jordan Larine Redfern. Through the course of the investigation it was found Redfern had an active arrest warrant through the Frederick County Sheriff’s Office. Redfern was arrested based on the warrant and searched incident to arrest. During the search of Redfern, marijuana and evidence of marijuana distribution was located on his person and in his belongings.
Redfern was transported to the Frederick County Adult Detention Center for an appearance before the District Court Commissioner.
