Vacancy to Fill
Frederick, MD- January 20, 2015: The City of Frederick is currently seeking interested individuals to fill a vacancy on the Bicycle and Pedestrian Advisory Committee.
The Bicycle and Pedestrian Advisory Committee will advise City officials and staff on the sound development, management, and safe use of The City’s pedestrian and bicycle systems as they relate to infrastructure and accessibility as well as promoting the benefits of these systems. The Committee meets on the first Tuesday of every month at 6:30 p.m. to discharge its duties.
Interested individuals must be City residents. Individuals who represent persons who have impaired vision or mobility are encouraged to apply. It is preferred that persons with a particular interest in walking apply.
