The Frederick Police Department’s Street Crimes Team has charged two juveniles who committed a burglary in July of 2014…
On 07-31-2014, officers of the Frederick Police Department responded to a residence in the 2600 block of Brook Valley Road, in Frederick City, in reference to a burglary call for service.
Through the initial investigation, it was found a private residence was entered through an unlocked door after an attempt to enter through a locked window was unsuccessful. Several items were reported stolen from the residence. This case was assigned to Investigator Kyle Jones, of the Frederick Police Department’s Street Crimes Team, for follow-up and investigation. Through his investigation, information was gathered and evidence from the crime scene was located and processed. It was through this information and evidence that the suspects were positively identified.
Criminal charges were applied for, charging two juvenile suspects with charges related to burglary and theft. On 01/06/2015, Investigator Jones applied for charges against the juvenile suspects through the Department of Juvenile Services. The two juvenile suspects information is being withheld due to their age.
