On 12-16-14, at approximately 0057 hours, OFC Jeff Gunder of the Frederick Police Department's Patrol Division was conducting checks in the area of Madison St.
On 12-16-14, at approximately 0057 hours, OFC Jeff Gunder of the Frederick Police Department's Patrol Division was conducting checks in the area of Madison St. While working in this capacity, OFC. Gunder observed a vehicle and several subjects who look suspicious in the area and possibly involved in drug activity. When the vehicle left the area, another officer observed the vehicle fail to stop at a stop sign. After initiating a traffic stop on the vehicle for this violation, a canine was called to the scene and conducted a sniff of the vehicle which resulted in a positive alert for drugs. After further investigation, OFC Gunder and Cpl. Snyder located a metal spoon with heroin residue in the female’s purse that was in the vehicle. Also located was a glass pipe that was dropped onto the ground when the female exited the vehicle, with suspected cocaine residue. Once being placed under arrest the female gave a name of Kimberly Stewart Further investigation revealed that this female was a Heather Marie Toms 10/05/1980.
Ms. Toms was taken to Central Booking to be processed.
