Tours of City Hall Planned during Municipal Government Works Month
Frederick, MD – The City of Frederick will be offering tours of City Hall in celebration of Municipal Government Works Month. City Hall, located at 101 North Court Street, is originally the site of the Frederick County Courthouse. The present building was built in the early 1860’s and is the 3rd building to be located on this site. The City of Frederick purchased the old Frederick County Courthouse in 1983 and in 1985 the building was refurbished and transformed into City Hall..
Tours are free and open to the public on the following dates and times. Registration is not necessary. Those interested in participating on one of the tours should meet inside City Hall 10 minutes prior to the tour time and sign in at the reception desk. Mayor McClement will be available to greet visitors in his office, formally known as the Ceremonial Room.
• Tuesday, November 18th - 10:00 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.
• Friday, November 21st – 1:00 p.m.
