2015 Annual Action Plan – Request for Proposals
Frederick, MD -- The City of Frederick’s Community Development Division is now preparing to develop the City’s new five-year Consolidated Plan and Annual Action Plan for the 2015 Grant Year. As part of the this process, the City is accepting project proposals for its 2015 Annual Action Plan, an element of the Consolidated Plan prepared pursuant to U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development regulations.
All Annual Action Plan proposals are due on Tuesday, January 6, 2015 by 12:00 pm. Applications (Bricks & Mortar and Public Services) & community wide surveys are available on the City’s website at CDBG Applications (see attached). Printed copies of the survey are located at City Hall 101 N. Court Street or Municipal Office Annex 140 W. Patrick Street.
Two public forums will be held for comment on the Consolidated Plan to address community needs and funding priorities. This forum will also include Basically CDBG program guidelines and funding proposals requirements.
• Wednesday, November 12, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. the Public Conference Room of the Municipal Office Annex, 140 West Patrick Street, Frederick, Maryland
• Wednesday, December 3, 2014 at 6:00 p.m in the Public Conference Room of the Municipal Office Annex, 140 West Patrick Street, Frederick, Maryland.
• Attendance is mandatory at one of the above scheduled meetings if your organization is applying for GY2015 funding.
Following these meetings, a draft 2015-2019 Consolidated Plan and 2015 Annual Action Plan will be prepared. There will be opportunity for public review and comment prior to adoption by the Mayor and Board of Alderman, (anticipated adoption date: May 2015).
