6th Annual Halloween in Baker Park
Concession Stand & Free Performances by Dance Unlimited

Frederick, MD -- If you have never seen or experienced Halloween in Baker Park before, Now-Is–The-Time! A concession stand selling hot dogs, hot chocolate, hot cider, and snacks, free performances at the Baker Park bandshell by the Dance Unlimited Award winning Elite Dance Company and Theatricks and the thrill and chills of the guided tours – for an evening of Halloween family fun, Baker Park is the place to be on Friday, October, 24th, 2014 (Rain Date, Wednesday, October, 29th).

The tours begin at 6:30 pm, leaving every 15 minutes and last approximately 50 minutes. Pre-Registration required for participating with our “Spirit Guides” throughout the park. The fee is $6.00 per person for city residents and $8.00 per- person for non- city residents.

Register now by calling The City of Frederick, Parks and Recreation Department at 301-600-1492 to register with your credit card or stop by the desk at the William Talley Recreation Center located at 121 North Bentz Street with check or cash. You can also register online @ activityreg.com. All time slots sell out very early. There are limited time slots and spaces.

Each year our haunted Baker Park has many new twist and turns throughout the evening. We keep some of everyone’s favorites while adding new and scary, characters in secret places that no one is expecting, many different themes and surprises for all! This year we have also added “Trunk or Treat” to a few areas throughout the park, so bring your favorite empty treat bag or pumpkin!

Everyone’s Favorite… free multiple shows by the Dance Unlimited Award Winning Elite Dance Company to include “Welcome to My Nightmare” and Michael Jackson’s “THRILLER” We have Theatricks, Frederick’s own Circus Arts Company and School performing juggling and many other holiday themed circus skills throughout the evening.

Very Important: Please be here at least 20 minutes before your registered time slot, the “Spirit Guides” do not wait! No refunds will be given for missed tour times. All time frames fill so you cannot switch to another time the evening of the event! For everyone that is registered, please check-in at the Information Booth by the Wm. Talley Rec Center entrance in Baker Park for your wristband as soon as you arrive.

This is an evening of great fun for the entire family!
