On 09/02/2014, at approximately 12:27 AM, An officer of the Frederick Police Department was on foot patrol in Hoffman’s Alley when he observed a subject climbing over the fence to the rear of 412 W South St.
On 09/02/2014, at approximately 12:27 AM, An officer of the Frederick Police Department was on foot patrol in Hoffman’s Alley when he observed a subject climbing over the fence to the rear of 412 W South St. The officer recognized the subject as Thomas James Hamm and knew that Hamm had been trespassed from that property. Once Hamm observed the officer he fled on foot. As Hamm was running the officer observed him drop an object. The officer stopped to recover the object that Hamm dropped and located a loaded handgun. Hamm continued to flee and was not apprehended that night.
On 10/03/2014, Officers located Hamm and served him with Circuit Court paperwork charging him with Trespassing Private Property, Carrying and Transporting a Handgun, and Possession of a Regulated Firearm Under 21.
