Frederick Police arrested the driver from a traffic stop after learning the drivers driving privilege was suspended. The suspect attempted to flee the scene while being taken into custody.
On 09/29/2014 at approximately 11:47PM, OFC Palkovic of the Frederick Police Department initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle for speeding in the 100 block of Baughmans Lane. Upon contact with the driver, identified by his driver’s license as Ronald Henderson, OFC Palkovic learned that Henderson’s driver’s license was suspended and revoked. As OFC Palkovic attempted to place Henderson under arrest for the motor vehicle violations, Henderson resisted and fled on foot from the scene. While fleeing, Henderson discarded a small baggie of marijuana, which was later recovered. OFC Palkovic was able to apprehend Henderson a short distance away and place him under arrest. Henderson was transported to FMH for minor injuries, then to the Frederick County Adult Detention Center for processing.

1) Resisting arrest
2) Possession of Marijuana less than 10 grams
3) Speeding
4) Driving on a suspended license

6) Attempt to elude police officer on foot
7) Driving a motor vehicle in violation of rental agreement.
