A reward of $10,000 is being offered for information leading to an arrest in the Lamont Ellis Homicide
September 30th marks the 2 year anniversary of the tragic murder of Lamont Ellis. On September 30, 2012, Lamont was murdered in Frederick following a night out with friends. At approximately 1:50 am, while walking to his car, parked near Mullinex Alley, Lamont was shot in an apparent robbery attempt.
The friends and family of Lamont have collected, through community donations, a sum of $10,000 to be offered to anyone with information leading to the identification and prosecution of his killer. Those with information on this investigation are asked to call the Frederick Police Department’s Crime Tip Line at 301-600-TIPS
An account has been set up in Lamont’s name to accept donations towards the reward being offered. Money is accepted at any M&T Bank in the account name of “Lamont G. Ellis Reward Fund”. Donations may also be sent to:
