On 9-9-14 at about 10:47PM, members of the Frederick Police Department's Drug Enforcement Unit stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation. A positive K9 alert led to the arrest of the driver, identified as Olan Carlos Mark, and a search of Mark's vehicle led to the discovery of a quantity of marijuana, pills, and crack cocaine concealed behind a panel under the dashboard. Marks temporarily escaped police custody by fleeing on foot. Prior to being caught nearby, Mark tried to make entry into a residence and an occupied vehicle, both unsuccessfully.
