On 08/19/2014 at approximately 2105 hrs. Officers responded to the 1500 block of St. Lawrence Ct for a burglary. An anonymous caller advised that someone had broken into a home and was currently inside. Upon arrival Officers located the suspect, Leonard Kent Taylor (DOB 08/25/1958) hiding behind a shed in the back yard. Taylor was detained and through investigation it was discovered that Taylor had entered the residence through an unsecured front door. Taylor advised he entered the home of a friend whom he knew to be out of town. Taylor was not given permission to be in the residence.
