On 08/17/14 at approximately 11:15pm Frederick Police officers were dispatched to a report of a strong armed robbery that just occurred in the area of Scholl’s Lane and S. Jefferson St. Investigation revealed that a male victim was walking with a group of several subjects when an altercation ensued.
At one point several subjects began assaulting the victim and took belongings from him, which included a cell phone and other personal items. The victim was transported to Frederick Memorial Hospital with minor injuries . He was able to identify his attackers and officers located the suspects walking on N. Market St. a short time later. They were placed under arrest and transported to Central Booking.
