When officers contacted the male they identified him as Christopher Keehan Popp. Popp was displaying signs of being under the influence so officers asked him to complete field sobriety tests. Popp failed those tests and was placed under arrest. During the search of Popp officers located numerous prescription pills and a small amount of marijuana resin. Popp did not have a prescription for the pills and based upon the quantity officers believed that he possessed them with the intent to sell.
Popp was transported to the Frederick County Adult Detention Center for processing.
Popp was charged with Driving While Impaired, Possession of Marijuana, Possession of Oxymorphone and Possession with the Intent to Distribute Oxymorphone.
