Incident/ Information:
On 02/01/2012, at approximately 2145 hours, the Frederick Police Drug Enforcement Unit investigated a suspicious vehicle at 400 South Jefferson Street. The vehicle was parked away from the pumps and was occupied with a driver and passenger, who were identified as Jenkins and Schofield, respectively. While speaking with officers Schofield produce a syringe. An officer recovered the syringe and asked Schofield to exit the vehicle. As Schofield exited the vehicle the officer observed a cap to a syringe, cotton, and aluminum can with suspected heroin residue. Schofield was then arrested. Schofield was also wanted by the Frederick County Sheriff’s Office for Failure to Appear. Jenkins was also found to be wanted by Salisbury, MD for Failure to Appear. Both Schofield and Jenkins were taken to the Frederick County Adult Detention Center to appear before a District Court Commissioner.
