On 8-8-2014 at about 9:30 PM, a member of the Frederick Police Department's Drug Enforcement Unit made a traffic stop in the area of Tuscanney Drive and Yellow Springs Road. A K9 subsequently alerted to the odor of a controlled dangerous substance emanating from the vehicle. A search of the vehicle and driver yielded a quantity of marijuana and Xanax sufficient to indicate an intent to distribute, electronic scales, US currency, a quantity of loose Xanax tablets, and a grinder. The driver, Donald Williams, was arrested and taken to Central Booking to be charged.
