Officers from the Frederick Police Department arrested four juveniles for climbing balconies and stealing bicycles.
On 08/06/2014 at approximately 2:55AM, officers from the Frederick Police Department were dispatched to the 300 block of Field Pointe Blvd in reference to suspicious people in the area. The caller stated a group of juveniles were seen attempting to gain access to several apartments in the area.
A short time later, OFC R. Brown and OFC S. Payne located two of the juveniles nearby. Two additional juveniles were located in the area by additional units. Through the course of his investigation, OFC R Brown learned the juveniles had gained access to several second floor balconies and stole two bicycles. Due to the juvenile’s ages, their identification is being withheld. Charges will be forwarded to the Department of Juvenile Justice. All the arrestees were released to the custody of their legal guardians.
