Frederick Police Department detectives investigate shots fired incident...
On 6/23/2014, at approximately 1915 hours, officers and detectives with the Frederick Police Department responded to the 100 block of Lord Nickens Street for a report of gunshots.
Witnesses were contacted and said they saw a male, believed to be the suspect, running away from the scene. The suspect was described as:
• Black male
• Unknown age
• Tall with a thin build
• Braided or dreadlock style hair
• Black hooded sweatshirt covering face
• Dark sweatpants with white stripes on the sides
There are no known people that were struck by the gunfire. No further description of the suspects was obtained. One building sustained damage during the incident.
