Mayor McClement Calls for Closed Session
Frederick, MD -- Mayor Randy McClement has requested a Closed Session on Wednesday, June 25, 2014 at 2:00 PM. Mayor McClement will request a vote of the Aldermen to convene the meeting as a Closed Session.
This action is in accordance with the authority granted under the Annotated Code of Maryland, State Government Article, Section 10-508(a)(7) to consult with counsel to obtain legal advice on a legal matter; and the Annotated Code of Maryland, State Government Article, Section 10-508(a)(8) to consult with staff, consultants, or other individuals about pending or potential litigation.
Mayor McClement will entertain a motion to this effect at 2:00 PM and will comply with the Open Meetings Act to the fullest extent.
