On Friday June 20, 2014 the Frederick Police Department will host its 55th Frederick Police Academy graduation at the Weinberg Center
On Friday June 20, 2014 the Frederick Police Department will celebrate the accomplishments of 16 of the area's newest police officers. On this date 9 Frederick Police Departments Officers, 5 Frederick County Sheriffs Office Deputies and 2 Laurel Police Department Officers will graduate the 55th Frederick Police Academy, Western Maryland's longest, continuous certified police academy.
Christopher Dreisbach, Director of Applied Ethics and Humanities for the Division of Public Safety Leadership in Johns Hopkins University's School of Education, is the guest commencement speaker. The Frederick Police Department welcomes his remarks and words of encouragement to the newest members of our law enforcement family.
Please join us and other local, state and federal officers and civilians on June 20, 2014 at 1:00 pm in the Weinberg Center to celebrate the graduation of the Frederick Police Department's 55th Academy. The ceremony will be followed by a reception with refreshments.
