On 05-31-2014, Off. Lawson of the FPD arrested Little, Cameron Curtis for an outstanding warrant for Burglary. Incident to the arrest Off. Lawson also located suspected marijuana in sufficient quantity and packaging to indicate an intent to distribute.
On 05-31-2014 at approximately 1130 hours Off. R. Lawson of the Frederick Police Department was on routine patrol in the 100 block of Willowdale Drive Frederick, MD when he observed a subject known to him to have an outstanding warrant. Off. Lawson assisted by Off. S. L. Grigsby took the subject (Little, Cameron Curtis) into custody for the warrant and search incident to arrest located a quantity of suspected marijuana carried and packaged in a manner to indicate an intent to distribute the controlled dangerous substance.
The warrant for Little’s arrest was the result of an approximately month long investigation into several residential burglary reports being conducted by the Frederick Police Department’s Special Crimes Unit and in particular OFC M. A. Irons. Little has been charged with 1st degree burglary. theft and numerous lesser offenses. The investigation continues and additional charges are anticipated as well as the arrest of additional accomplices.
At the time of this writing, Little had been transported to Frederick County Central Booking for processing and is awaiting an appearance before the District Court Commissioner.
