Members of the Frederick Police Department's Drug Enforcement Unit made a traffic stop this evening at around 7PM on 7th St. During the course of the stop, a police K9 alerted to the presence of the odor of a controlled dangerous substance. After a search, Douglas Jay Williams was arrested for possession of heroin and taken to Central Booking.
