Frederick, MD.-On 04/27/2014, at approximately 11:02 a.m., officers of the Frederick Police Department responded to the 100 Blk of Commerce Street for a burglary and theft that had just occurred.
Frederick, MD.-On 04/27/2014, at approximately 11:02 a.m., officers of the Frederick Police Department responded to the 100 Blk of Commerce Street for a burglary and theft that had just occurred. Upon arrival, officers contacted the complainant, who advised a black male suspect had gained entry into a secured fenced off parking lot. Once inside the area, the suspect was able to gain entry and steal multiple items from a storage shed and parked vehicles. After being confronted by the complainant, the suspect quickly left the scene by stealing one of the parked vehicles and ramming the entry/exit gate, causing it to open. After providing a description of the suspect and stolen vehicle, officers were able to locate the vehicle a short distance away, unoccupied. Further canvassing of the area was completed for the suspect with negative results.
