On 4/17/14 just before 10 PM, an officer of the Drug Enforcement Unit stopped a car with two females inside just off South East St. A K9 alerted to the presence of an odor of a controlled dangerous substance, and the officer recovered heroin, marijuana, and paraphernalia. The passenger, Vandercruize, also had an open arrest warrant for assault. Both females were taken to Central Booking. An additional photo will follow when available.
