The Frederick Police Department will be conducting Traffic Stop training in the beginning of April
In an effort to continue its effort for improved training, the Frederick Police Department’s Training Unit will be conducting Traffic Stop training in the area of Gas House Pike and Monocacy Boulevard. The Training will involve simulated traffic stops involving police officers in plain clothes. Each of the recruits will be paired with a member of the Frederick Police Department’s Training Unit while performing the scenarios. The traffic stop training will be conducted on 3 days in April in the afternoon/evening hours in order to minimize impact on traffic. The area encompassing the training will be marked with signs indicating that Police training is in progress. Below are the following dates and times for the training:
April 2: 4pm-midnight
April 3: 1pm-9pm
April 7: 4pm-9pm
