Frederick Police Department detectives make arrest in burglary investigation...
On 4/10/13, the Frederick Police Department responded to 1212 W. Patrick St., Uncle Bob’s Storage, for the report of a burglary. Police discovered 37 individual storage units had been burglarized. Numerous items were taken which included, but are not limited to, jewelry, electronics, and other miscellaneous items. Det. Curt Lege was assigned as the lead investigator in the case.
Through the course of Det. Lege’s investigation, two suspects were developed which lead to charges being granted for:
• Second degree burglary
• 4th degree burglary
• Destruction of property
• Theft scheme
On 3/4/14, charges were granted, and on 3/7/14, both suspects were located.
A criminal summons was issued for Nathan Maxwell Mele (w/m, 09-22-94) of the 13000 block of Bottom Rd in Mount Airy, MD.
A warrant was issued for Randy Allen Rinehart (w/m, 08-28-92) of the 7700 block of Dollyhyde Rd in Mount Airy, MD (picture attached).
