All Recycling Collections Shifted One Day Later For Week Frederick County, Md. – The Department of Solid Waste Management is announcing the postponement of curbside recycling service for Monday, March 3, in response to the winter storm affecting our region. To support the county’s Highway Operations Department with road clearing efforts, residents should remove their recycling carts from the curb until the storm has passed.
Recycling service normally scheduled for Monday will take place on Tuesday, March 4 instead, shifting all curbside pickups for the remainder of the week one day later than their usual collection day. Affected regions include the City of Frederick, Ijamsville, Libertytown, Monrovia, Mt. Airy, New Market, Urbana, Walkersville, Woodsboro and surrounding areas.For specific information on the status of your street’s curbside collection, please call Allied Waste Services at 301-694-6498.
