TechBreakfast Meet Up Group Comes to Frederick
Tech Frederick Sponsors Efforts
Frederick, MD -- The Department of Economic Development, in conjunction with Tech Frederick, is pleased to announce the inaugural Frederick TechBreakfast. Tech Breakfast was launched in 2011 by Ron Schmelzer and provides an opportunity to "interact with your peers in a monthly morning breakfast meet-up.” The series has expanded nationally and regularly host breakfasts in Washington DC, Austin, Boston, New York, Silicon Valley, and more. March 25th at 8:00AM brings the fast paced program to the Delaplaine Visual Arts Education Center in Downtown Frederick.
During a technology Show-and-Tell event, five companies deliver seven-minute demos to a room full of tech enthusiasts. TechBreakfast enables entrepreneurs, techies, developers, designers, business people, and interested people to see showcases on innovative, new technology in a demo format and interact with each other.
To RSVP, visit Meet-Up website. For additional information and other inquiries, please contact Robert Baumler, Economic Development Manager for The City of Frederick, at 301-600-6362 or email rbaumler@cityoffrederick.com.
Tech Frederick is a joint venture of The City of Frederick Department of Economic Development, Frederick County Business Development and Retention, the Frederick Innovative Technology Center, and the local tech community. The organization supports local IT business owners providing advocacy, communication, networking and developing partnerships.
