Frederick 101- A Basic Overview of the City
Frederick, MD -- The City of Frederick is offering “Frederick 101”, a one day class that provides citizens with a basic overview of City government. The class will be held on Saturday, February 22nd, from 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM in the training room at the Department of Public Works, located at 111 Airport Drive East. The cost for the program is $10 and includes a light breakfast and lunch. Registration has been extended to February 19th. To enroll visit Frederick 101.
“Frederick 101” is a program designed to provide a better understanding of City departments and services available to those who live, work, or play in The City of Frederick. Departments and services to be covered include: Code Enforcement, Economic Development, Engineering Department, Finance Department, Frederick Municipal Airport, Neighborhood Advisory Council Initiative, Parking Department, Parks & Recreation, Planning Department, Police Department, Public Works Department, and the Weinberg Center.
