Celebrate Frederick, Inc, in partnership with Zambelli Fireworks, has scheduled a brief fireworks test to be shot at approximately 9 PM on Wednesday, October 16th.

Brief Fireworks Test Scheduled at Parkway Elementary School on October 16th


Frederick, MD -- Celebrate Frederick, Inc, in partnership with Zambelli Fireworks, has scheduled a brief fireworks test to be shot at approximately 9 PM on Wednesday, October 16th. The shells will be shot from the front lawn of Parkway Elementary School, 300 Carroll Parkway. As a result, Carroll Parkway, between College Avenue and N. Jefferson Street, will be closed to traffic from 8:30 – 9:30 PM on October 16th. There will be no parking on Carroll Parkway, between College Avenue and N. Jefferson Street, or on the campus of Parkway Elementary School, between 7:00 – 10:00 PM on the day of the test.

The test has been scheduled to give the Frederick’s 4th – An Independence Day Celebration Committee an opportunity to evaluate the visibility of the fireworks from strategic locations throughout downtown Frederick.
