Frederick Police responded to a burglary in progress on W. South St. and located the suspect near the residence.

On 09/21/13 at approximately 10:40pm Frederick Police responded to a report of a burglary in progress in the 400 block of W. South St. Frederick, MD. A neighbor called 911 advising that he observed a male kicking in the front door to a residence and then enter. A detailed description of the suspect was provided.
Officers arrived in the area and located the suspect hiding near the rear of the residence. He was positively identified by the witness and placed under arrest. The house was vacant and undergoing renovations. Nothing was taken from the residence.
CHARGES: 4th Degree Burglary
